Lime CaO additional on rearing Pangas catfish in 4‰ media to decrease osmotic regulatory and less using energy for osmoregulation. Its excess energy could be used for growth. This research used fry with average length 2,59±0,02 cm and average weight 0,13±0,01 g. These fry contained in 15 units of rectangular glass aquaria 20x20x20 cm has been filled water with salinity of 4 ‰ and additional lime CaO appropriately kind of factor experiment (0 mg/ℓ, 20 mg/ℓ, 40 mg/ℓ, 60 mg/ℓ, and 80 mg/ℓ). Eighteen fry were stocked per tank. A single factor experimental design with three replication per treatment was followed. Fish were fed three times daily by at satiation. This research was result survival rate 100%; 100%; 100%; 96,29%; and 100% (P>0,05). Specific growth rate 5,196%; 5,212%; 6,596%; 5,35%; and 5,101% (P>0,05). Total length of Pangas catfish fry was significanly affected 1,451 cm; 1,518 cm; 1,964 cm; 1,71 cm; 1,546 cm (P<0,05). Quality of environment appears in optimal range during the conduct experiment. Using lime of CaO in 4‰ salinity medium suggested to choose 40 mg/ℓ concentration of CaO for best result.
