Kejadian koksidiosis pada domba umur 6-12 bulan di Ciomas, Bogor

Abstract

The aim of this research was to identify Eimeria sp. which infected 6 - to 12 - month - old in sheep farm, Bogor. The materials that have been used in this research was the faeces from 30 sheeps during 4 weeks, faeces werw collated 2 times a week. The identification was based on morfology and the calculate od oocyte size with Mc master country chambers. This research in sheep farm, Bogor found 6 species of Eimeria ahsata; circle, elliptical and ovoid shape, with the oocyte size of 33,75micro meter x 24,38 micro meter and index 1,64, Eimeria parva; circle shape, with thhe oocyts size of 15 micro meter x 15 micro meter and index 1, Eimeria ninakohlykimovae ovoid shape, with the oocyts size of 22,5 micro meters x 18,75 micro meter and index 1,2. The appearance frequency of Eimeria sp were Eimeria christenseni (267 times). Eimeria ahsata (186 times), Eimeria arloingi (170 times), Eimeria intricate (40 times), Eimeria parva (32 times) and Eimeria ninakohlyakimovae (4 times). Faeces with more than 1 species were 179 sample, while those with 1 species were 37 samples)
