Studi pola penurunan suhu pada bak pemingsanan udang windu (Penaeues monodon Fab.) tipe batch
Abstract
The objective of this research is to find the temperature distribution pattern in the anaestheting black tiger shrimp (Penaeues monodon Fab.) box and the best decreasing temperature profil to anaesthesize. The cooling of medium was very influencing in the passing level of a life shrimps. The temperature distribution pattern in anaestheting medium plays an important role to get a satisfying result. The cooling water process in the anaestheting box is done with input the cooling water in the box step by step.The best system to input the cooling water in to the box was using an input hose from the water chiller that was put in one part of the base of the box, and the output hose that was put vertically parallel on the water surface in the box, because the decreasing temperature pattern shown a linier pattern also the uniformity temperature decreasing at some points. The additional treament by using the aerator can increase DO (Dissolved Oxygen) level compared to the treatment without using aerator. Aerator can also help to spread evenly the temperature inside the anaestheting box so that we can get a more uniformity decreasing temperature pattern.
