Analisis Biaya Alat Pengupas Kulit Ari Biji Kedelai Tipe Tampah, Engkol Semi Mekanis, dan Mekanis
Abstract
The mechanization technologiey have been applied in tofu industries, especially for soybean peeling. Many innovation and experiment that concern in peeling technology have been done by academician. The study of financial aspect in the application of such newly developed technology become important. The process of developing new technology should be enhanced with study on its financial aspects such as feasibility study. Purpose of this research is to have an engineering economy analysis on this developed technology, they are winnowing tray soybean peeler, hand paddle semi mechanical soybean peeler “ENGKOL23-BPTTG” and mechanical soybean peeler “OTOROL23-BPTTG” which developed by Center of Appropriate Technology Development. Evaluation of such alternatives were studied in order to obtain the conclusion of the best cost efficiency machine. Results of capacity testing of winnowing tray is 20 kg/hour, while for semi mechanical is 174.36 kg/hour and for mechanical peeler has the greatest capacity is 552.93 kg/hour. Thus evaluation method conducted using the base cost method indicated the “OTOROL23-BPTTG” had least cost at 20.926 ton and more soybean per year and the winnowing tray soybean peeler had least cost at 3 ton until 20.926 ton soybean per year.
