Work centered analysis of online services development industrial business license at Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi Regency

Abstract

The development of information and communication technologies has delivered a model of public services through e-Government. The aims of this study was to analyse business process of industrial business license at Regency of Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi, and to develop business process formula by using application template in general. The background of this study was because of the difficulties encountered for businesses to apply for industries licensing. Those difficulties for example the application process was not effective, efficient and transparent. The method of work centered analysis was used to analyse the business process of industrial business licensing service. Meanwhile, the waterfall method was used to develop application template. By using work analysis framework, it can be observed the part of system in industrial business license system that can be computerized by online application template. The proposed business process of industrial business license consists of six parts: information, administrative verification, document validation, technical verification, processing, and validation. Improvement process were done by eliminating the process of taking registration form, creating invitation letter to the technical team, creating agency notes, discussion of results from field visit, correction license format, elimination of approval sign, and elimination recording. The application template that has been developed based on e-Government was expected to improve business license services performance efectively, efficiently, and transparantly that accordance with the objectives of good governance. application template of Industrial business license can be used as registration and disposition facilities.
