      Abstract
IMNV (infectious myonecrosis virus) is considered as major disease on Pacific white shrimp industry. The aim of the work was to evaluate the effectiveness of various doses of meniran on survival rate of infected shrimp. The works were done using complete randomized design (RAL) with 5 treatments and 4 replicates including for histopathology. The treatments were A (negative control), B (positive control), C (10 mg of plant/kg of shrimp feed), D (20 mg of plant/kg of shrimp feed), and E (30 mg of plant/kg of shrimp feed). All shrimp then infected with IMNV except the A treatment, giving the infected shrimp meat for 3 days as much as 15% (according to FR). The valve of survival rate were 93,33%, 43,33%, 86,68 %, 90,00% and 83,33% for treatment of A, B, C, D, and E respectivelly. The study revealed that the optimum dose of meniran was 20 mg/kg of feed giving higher survival rate of 90%. Based on histopathological examination infections cause alteration to muscle tissue, inclusion bodies forming in hepatopankreas, necrosis, and hypertrophy of the cell.

Perlakuan A (kontrol negatif), B (kontrol positif), C (10 mg /kg pakan udang), D (20 mg/kg pakan udang), dan E (30 mg/kg pakan udang).
