More priority to food security for every individual to gain access to nutritious food and its absorption by the achievement of a healthy and productive life. UU No.7 of 1996 states that food security is a condition of availability of adequate food quantity and quality, safe, equitable and affordable. Thus the availability of food is not the only factor that determines the achievement of food security, but access and absorption of food factors also affect the achievement of food security. Some of the goals of this study include: determine the variables contained in the factor of food availability, access, absorption and food security in Indonesia, knowing the influence factors of food availability, access and absorption of food to food security in Indonesia, and develop a relationship model of factors of food availability, access and absorption of food by using partial least squares path modeling (PLS-PM) based on indicators that have been established. The data used in this study is secondary data, with reference to the indicators used in the manufacture of food insecurity Indonesia map prepared by the Food Security Council of RI. The analysis showed that the latent variable food availability, food access and food absorption significantly affected the food security of latent variables at 95% confidence level. R2 value of 0.400 for this model which means that 40% of the diversity of the latent variables of food security that can be explained by a latent variable food availability, food access and food absorption, rest influenced by other factors.
