      Abstract
      “Gebot” is a tool to separate the grain from the stalk that has been harvested. This tools usually used by farmers for threshing rice. The purpose of this study was to identify the anthropometric of farmers in Jetis District, Ponorogo; ascertain the level of compliance of “gebot” tools to the farmer’s anthropometry; determine the appropriate dimension of the “gebot” tool which is match to the farmers anthropometry. Data retrieval is performed using a random sampling method to get the subject of 60 people, 50 measures of antropometric parameters which consists of 24 and 26 parameters of stand up and sit down position respectively. As the results, antropometric data of male and female were collected in 5th, 50th, and 95th percentiles. The correlation coeficient (CC), mean, and standard of deviation of each antropometric measures were collected as well based on the antropometric data and the “natural body movement range”. The “gebot” dimentional design was then analyzed. The results revealed that the optimum high of “gebot” for 5th, 50th, and 95th percentiles of the women operator are 56.0 cm, 58.1 cm, and 60.3 cm respectively. Whereas for the men operator are 61.0 cm, 62.8 cm, and 65.0 cm respectively for 5th, 50th, and 95th percentiles. The optimum slope of the “gebot” for 5th, 50th, and 95th percentiles of the woman operator are 530, 560, and 590. The optimum slope of the “gebot” for 5th, 50th, and 95th percentiles of the men operator are 610, 640, and 670.
