Pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun beluntas (Pluchea indica Less.) pada air minum terhadap performan ayam broiler pada kepadatan kandang yang tinggi

Abstract

Broiler has very fast growth and efficient in utilizing the diet.-However broiler is easy to get stress, including heat stress. Adding sintetic antistress into drinking water is common practice by farmer, but results in higher cost production and residue accumulation in meat broiler. To overcome this problem, this esperiment extract of beluntas leaf was used into drinking water to study its effect on the performance of broilers and its effort on cholesterol. Two hundreds and sixteen Day Old Chick (DOC) were used in this experiment The animals were devided into 24 groups. each consisted of 9 broilers and were kept in animal house with litter system.
