Abstract

Farmer's dairy cattle have only contribute 30% of national milk requirement. This may be caused of quota application by milk processing industries (IPS), competitions with imported milk, small farmer scale, limitation in feed quality and quantity. The effort of increasing milk production has been done by quality and quantity improvement through good feeding strategy. Farmers usually give low quality and quantity of feed, so dairy cattle lack of nutrient requirement and last their production and lower.
