Pengaruh pemberian bungkil biji jarak pagar (Jatropha curcas Linn) dalam ransum terhadap performan ayam broiler

Abstract

It is reported that Jatropha curcas meal contains high crude protein arround 63-58% therefore it has potency to be used as feed. However, the Jatropha curcas meal also contains some toxic substances such as curcin and pharbolester which can cause death if it is consumed by animals. The experiment was conducted to study the effect of feeding Jatropha curcas meal on performance and mortality of broiler chickens.
