      Abstract
Complete ration silage has never been used in rabbits farm industry. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the quality in an attempt to reach feed security. The aim of this study was to compare and analize the effect of feeding complete ration silage on the performance of rabbits. This research used two diet treatments with six replications, each of which consisted of 6 rabbits with body weight of 1375.28 g ± 204.52. The treatments were complete ration pellet (R1) and complete ration silage (R2). The data obtained were analyzed using t-test. The result showed that the treatments significantly (P<0.01) affected feed consumption and body weight. The average feed consumption of New Zealand White was 824.49 ± 51.04 for complete ration pellet (R1) and 645.74 ± 19.16 for complete ration silage (R2). The average body weight for complete ration pellet (R1) was 1906.45±135.80 and it was 1663.15 ±110.07 for complete ration silage (R2). However, the treatments did not significantly influence daily weight gain, feed efficiency, carcass percentage and fat thighs. It can be concluded that complete ration silage has similar quality to complete ration pellet in terms of affecting performance of rabbits.
