      Abstract
      Penelitian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan sumberdaya hayati untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan dan kabupaten Aceh Selatan provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam dalam rangka pengelolaan sumberdaya hayati secara berkelanjutan dan lestari dengan tujuan khusus: mengembangkan model optimasi potensi sumberdaya hayati untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan berdasarkan produksi pangan, komposisi bahan makanan dan komposisi energi makro, melakukan analisis kebutuhan dan ketersediaan sumberdaya lahan dan air untuk mendukung produksi pangan, dan mengembangkan lebih lanjut perangkat lunak OptiFood menjadi OptiFoodPlus untuk mendukung analisis kebutuhan dan ketersediaan pangan.
       
      Food is an essential and strategic human need. Limited land drivers men to conduct optimization of land utilization in producing food. This research was conducted in District of Aceh Selatan by analyzing the development of commodity production of food, both from the production of food crops, plantations, livestock and fisheries, and population growth. The objective of the optimization of the potential bio-resources in order to fulfill the need in food is to analyze the and availability of food. Software for the optimization of food demand and supply, called as OptiFoodPlus, was developed as tools to understand the condition of food development in area and the result was used to determine the management policy of food, land and water.
