      Abstract
      After 10 years burnt is not knowing how many plants and animals life in the ex-PLG million ha., It is made a negative impact because carbon can't absorb in this areas that occur in the context of carbon sequestration to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that have been released previously. This research was used destructive sampling to calculate the biomass and fmed carbon and that will know the peat forest structure and composition . The results showed that peat land after burnt 10 years ago has occurred secondary forest succession. In that area has growth a secondary forest species by structure and composition of 17 species (tree), 24 species (pole), 33 species (saplings), 31 species (seedlings) and 16 species (understorage). The dominant vegetation in secondary forests that developed after > 10 years burnt was showed in important value index (IVI) for tree that is Combretocarpus rotundatus (Miq.) Danser (25,65%), Sacrotheca rubrinervis Ha1l.F. (25,65%) and Palaquium rostratum (Miq.) Burck (25.65%); for pole that is Combretocarpus rotundatus (Miq.) Danser (18.33%), for saplings that is Sacrotheca rubrinervis Hal1.F. (14.48%) and for seedling that is Garcinia nigrolineata (15.70%) and for the understorage that is Bari-bari (27.17%). The biomass content in that areas that is 466.2 tonlha. Carbon content (carbon absorption) that is 262.2 ton/ha.
