      Abstract
      This research aims to get the diversity among genotypes through characterization based on morphological and agronomic characters. Characterization carried out during the seedling and in the field located at KP Laboratory Seed Science and Technology - IPB and KP Indocemen Citereup Bogor in August-October 2009. Using the Complete Random Design (RAL), consisting of 56 genotypes. The observed characters are quantitative and qualitative characters. Characterization of seedlings based on diversity analysis shows all the observed variables are the number of branches, the percentage of successful establishment of branches, branch height, number of leaves, leaf length and width and number of leaves significantly different grooves, whereas on the basis of clump analysis of qualitative data showed that of 56 genotypes with similarity of 33.3% can be categorized into three clump. The results of the analysis is a biplot clump two genotype groups are characterized by dark leaf color, leaf texture, and leaves the bone, three genotype groups are characterized by color bars, color and leaf sterns, while the clump one genotype that position away from all the variables. Variables that have a strong correlation that is the color bar with color petiole, and low correlation leaf color with leaf texture. Characterization in the field based on analysis of all kinds of observable variables that affect real, except at the variable number of branches and intensity of pest and disease. Clump analysis of qualitative variables that the 34 genotype with 33.3% similarity can be grouped into five clump. Further analysis biplot, genotype clump one group characterized by leaf color, characterized by a clump of two old stem color, characterized by a clump of three petiole color, leaf texture and pertulangan, characterized by a clump of four old leaf color, while the clurnp of five groups of genotypes a position away from all the variables. Variables that have a strong correlation that is the leaf bone with leaf texture and a low correlation is the leaf color with the color of an old trunk.
