Development model of working productivity using ergonomic factors in primary tillage of paddy field
Abstract
The measurement of working productivity of hand tractor including factors affecting the productivity, in soil tillage of paddy field has not been performed precisely. The working productivity is more likely influenced by the skill and comfort in operating the tractor. Design aspect on work productivity is the suitable ergonomic design which gives optimum working productivity. Two models have been developed to investigate the relationship between ergonomic factors and working productivity in primary tillage. The first model (A) was applied to soil tillage by hand tractor with gelebeg implement and the second model (B) was applied to soil tillage by hand tractor with rotary implement. Ergonomic factor analyzed in the model was the optimal height of the steer. Artificial neural network was used to formulate the non linear relationship among the analyzed parameters. The models, which are A and B, have accuracy of calibration 97% and 93% respectively, as well as accuracy of validation 89% and 87%. The outputs models are productivity and workload.
