Perilaku Masyarakat dalam Pemanfaatan ICT untuk Mendukung Pengembangan Masyarakat Global

Abstract

Information and communication technology (ICT) have given people many changes to human life in the world. Human being can penetrate place and time by using technology based on ICT. Information spreading become more widely and can be accessible anywhere, anytime, and by anybody. Through ICT application, communication can be conducted swiftly because can be presented in many forms such as a text, voice or other technology based on multimedia. Although ICT have an important roles in many life aspect, but in Indonesia ICT application still have many problems such as most of people still not yet aware to ICT development, inexistence of government policy seriously in ICT utilization for society prosperity, technology is still assumed luxurious goods and better avoid, most Indonesian people are still fear and will be shifted its by computer supremacy and its technology, and the happening of crime cyber which because of digital discrepancy which existing in society. Some solution for decreasing the impact of ICT application in Indonesia are early learning system in school implementation for nine year to ICT applying, to support the government for develop the ICT system consistently and continuously, sliming the regulation related to ICT application for community development, and develop the content industry based on ICT for e-learning.
