      Abstract
      Rhizopus sp. UQM 186F grow excellently well on . fresh shredded cassava tuber. Variety of cassava u'sed,a nd its . preparation are significantly affecting ptoteifi synthesis. ADIRA I variety without the removal of its outer skin found conversion process could slightly 'increase by adjustment of the concehtration of nutrient e.g. Urea, Zn, and Mg and the length of incubation period. The highest protein produced (7.08 g/1) was achieved in the following medium formula (911) : 150 fresh Shredded cassava -tuber, 4.0 of JJrea, 0.015 Of ZNS04.7H 0 and 0.55 of MgS04.7H20 -, with the incubation time 6f 74 E .
