      Abstract
The research was aimed to find out the interaction effect of soil salinity and Mychoriza on early growing stage of lamtoro and the best isolat on salinity level. The research was carried out on June unti11 October 2002, in green house noA, Soil Science Department, Agricultural Faculty of Bogor Agricultural University. Completely Randomized Design with 3 x 4 factorial pattern was used in this research with 3 replications. First factor (A) two level of salinity 0 ppm and 5000 ppm, while the second factor (B) was four different arbuscula mychoriza fungus types A == control, B := Glomus sp, C = Gigaspora sp, D = Acaulospora sp. The results showed that salinity affect significantly (P<O.01) on vertical height, stem diameter, and number of branches. The effect of AMF isolate and the interaction between AMF isolate with the salinity levels did not affect vertical height, stem diameter, and number of branches. The salinity levels affect significantly (P<O.Ol) root dry matter weight and shoot dry matter weight. while using the AMF isolate affect significantly (P<O.Ol) shoot dry matter weight but did not affect on root dry matter weight. The interaction between salinity levels with AMF isolate did not significant affect root dry matter weight and shoot dry matter weight. The salinity, AMF and the interaction did not affect significantly root infection percentage. The salinity levels and AMF affect significantly (P<O.Ol) number of spores. Lamtoro growth well on media without salin and the use of AMF was not effective, because the AMF did not yet adapt well. Acaulospora sp was the best isolate used in this study. Key Words: Salicity, Zeolite, Arbuscula Mychoriza Fungus (AMF), Lamtoro.
