The Substitution of Soybean Meal by Butterfly Leaf (Bouhinia purpurea L.) in Ration Kind of Pellet Towards Male Rabbit off Weaning Performance.

Abstract

The high quality ration supply has getting hindrance because influence of the price of ingredients are expensive, mainly the protein source like soybean meal. In Indonesia the supply of soybean meal is under requisites because of that we still import it, which made the price, are expensive. Because of the reason, we need to, find alternative ingredients, which came from forage. Why, because rabbit can used protein from forage efficiently. The Butterfly leaf is one of kind leguminous which can be useful for feed because the contain of crude protein is 23.34%, but the butterfly leaf contain 1.82% tannin which can caused feed restriction factor, because of that needed attention to utilize of butterfly leaf
