      Abstract
      Pesatnya perkembangan media sosial telah mengubah lanskap pemasaran industri kosmetik di Indonesia, ditandai dengan meningkatnya dominasi brand kosmetik impor, khususnya di wilayah Jabodetabek yang memiliki tingkat digitalisasi tinggi dan Generasi Z sebagai pengguna media sosial paling aktif. Kondisi ini menuntut brand untuk tidak hanya hadir secara intensif di media sosial, tetapi juga mampu membangun brand recall di benak konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh elemen social media marketing terhadap brand recall Generasi Z pada brand kosmetik impor serta menyusun rekomendasi konten berdasarkan elemen yang berpengaruh signifikan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 150 responden Generasi Z di Jabodetabek yang aktif menggunakan Instagram dan TikTok. Data dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya elemen entertainment dan customization yang berpengaruh signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa konten yang menghibur dan dipersonalisasi lebih efektif dalam memperkuat daya ingat merek dibandingkan elemen lainnya. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi managerial bagi brand kosmetik lokal dalam merancang social media marketing yang lebih relevan bagi Generasi Z.
       
      The rapid growth of social media has transformed the marketing landscape of the cosmetic industry in Indonesia, marked by the increasing dominance of imported cosmetic brands, particularly in the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) area, which has a high level of digitalization and a large population of Generation Z as the most active social media users. This condition requires brands not only to maintain an intensive presence on social media but also to build strong brand recall in consumers’ minds. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media marketing elements on Generation Z’s brand recall of imported cosmetic brands and to develop content recommendations based on elements that have a significant effect. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 150 Generation Z respondents in Jabodetabek who actively use Instagram and TikTok. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that only the entertainment and customization elements have a significant effect. These findings suggest that entertaining and personalized content is more effective in strengthening brand recall compared to other elements. This study provides managerial implications for local cosmetic brands in designing social media marketing strategies that are more relevant to Generation Z.
