      Produktivitas Pendederan Ikan Patin Siam (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) pada Sistem Akuaponik, Flok-ponik, dan Nitri-ponik

      Abstract
      Budidaya ikan patin siam (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) adalah komoditas yang nilai ekonomisnya masih dapat ditingkatkan pada efisiensi produksi dan optimalisasi kualitas air-nya. Akuaponik adalah sistem produksi usaha budidaya yang menambah nilai dari produksi tanaman yang umum digunakan dibudidaya ikan patin siam. Nitri-ponik dan flok-ponik menjadi solusi potensial pengolahan limbah nitrogen melalui aktivitas mikroba nitrifikasi atau heterotrof untuk meningkatkan sistem akuaponik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan kinerja usaha produksi ikan patin (P. hypophthalmus) dan tanaman selada keriting hijau (Cichorium endivia), antara akuaponik, nitrifikasi akuaponik (nitri-ponik) dan bioflok akuaponik (flok-ponik). Penelitian berlangsung 42 hari di Laboratorium Manajemen Akuakultur IPB menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap, tiga perlakuan: akuaponik, nitri-ponik dan flok-ponik (tiga ulangan). Hasil produksi ikan patin tidak memiliki perbedaan nyata dengan tingkat kelangsungan hidup 100% di semua perlakuan. Hasil produksi tanaman selada menunjukkan produksi akuaponik lebih baik (biomassa akhir 1,75 kg) dibanding nitri-ponik (0,77 kg), dan flok-ponik (0,81 kg). Kualitas air semua perlakuan optimal dengan parameter berbeda lebih tinggi pada alkalinitas (100 mg/L) dan ortofosfat (0,46 mg/L) pada flokponik. Analisis usaha menunjukkan perlakuan akuaponik menghasilkan keuntungan tertinggi dengan R/C 1,73 dan payback period 1,28 tahun. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa sistem akuaponik terbukti paling efisien secara, produksi, biologis dan ekonomis.
       
      The cultivation of striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) is a commodity whose economic value can still be increased in terms of production efficiency and water quality optimization. Aquaponics is a production system that adds value to plant production commonly used in striped catfish farming. Nitri-ponic and floc-ponic are potential solutions for nitrogen waste treatment through nitrification or heterotrophic microbial activity to improve conventional aquaponics systems. This study aims to analyze the comparative performance of catfish (P. hypophthalmus) and green curly endive (Cichorium endivia) production between conventional aquaponics, nitrification aquaponics (nitri-ponic), and biofloc aquaponics (flok-ponic). The study lasted 42 days at the IPB Aquaculture Management Laboratory using a completely randomized design with three treatments: aquaponics, nitri-ponics, and flok-ponics (three replicates). There was no significant difference in catfish production, with a 100% survival rate in all treatments. Lettuce production results showed that conventional production was better (final biomass of 1.75 kg) than nitri-ponic (0.77 kg) and flok-ponic (0.81 kg). Water quality was optimal in all treatments, with higher parameters for alkalinity (100 mg/L) and orthophosphate (0.46 mg/L) in floc-ponic. Business analysis showed that the conventional treatment yielded the highest profit with an R/C of 1.73 and a payback period of 1.28 years. The study concluded that conventional aquaponics systems proved to be the most efficient in terms of production, biology, and economics.
