      Abstract
      Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun masih menghadapi tantangan, terutama dalam sistem pengupahan. UD. Special Bakery, sebuah UMKM di Tangerang Selatan, menerapkan sistem kompensasi berbasis borongan yang menyebabkan gaji karyawan berada di bawah Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem kompensasi yang diterapkan, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi penetapan gaji, dan merancang sistem kompensasi yang lebih adil dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis Eckenrode untuk menilai bobot faktor-faktor kompensasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa sistem kompensasi yang ideal untuk diterapkan adalah sistem skala upah berbasis metode Eckenrode, yang menghasilkan penyesuaian gaji yang lebih adil dan proporsional, serta sesuai dengan kontribusi dan kompleksitas pekerjaan.       Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a significant role in Indonesia's economy but still face challenges, particularly in their wage systems. UD. Special Bakery, an MSME in South Tangerang, applies a piece-rate compensation system, which results in employee wages being below the Regional Minimum Wage (UMK). This study aims to analyze the compensation system implemented, identify the factors influencing wage determination, and design a fairer and more efficient compensation system. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with the Eckenrode method to assess the weight of compensation factors. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that the ideal compensation system to be implemented is a wage scale based on the Eckenrode method, which produces fairer and more proportional salary adjustments, in line with job contributions and complexity.
