      Evaluasi Kecernaan Pakan Wafer Suplemen Mengandung Prill Fat yang Diberikan pada Domba Garut Jantan

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pemberian pakan wafer suplemen yang mengandung prill fat dengan level pemberian yang berbeda terhadap kecernaan nutrien dan konsumsi nutrien pada domba Garut jantan. Penelitian ini menggunakan domba Garut jantan sebanyak 16 ekor dengan rata-rata bobot badan 33,50±10,97 kg di peternakan Sejahtera Tani Farm, Cinangka. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan yang terdiri dari P0: Rumput Lapang + konsentrat (pakan kontrol), P1: Pakan kontrol + Wafer suplemen 200 g, P2: Pakan kontrol + Wafer suplemen 300 g, P3: Pakan kontrol + Wafer suplemen 400 g. Peubah yang diamati konsumsi dan kecernaan nutrien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian wafer suplemen yang mengandung prill fat dengan taraf 400 g (P3) berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap peningkatan konsumsi nutrien BK 905,96 g ekor-1 hari-1, BO 838,77 g ekor-1 hari-1, PK 119,96 g ekor-1 hari-1, LK 51,14 g ekor-1 hari-1, SK 243,37 g ekor-1 hari-1, BETN 420,55 g ekor-1 hari-1. Pemberian wafer suplemen mengandung prill fat lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pakan kontrol terhadap kecernaan nutrien.
       
      This study aims to evaluate the feeding of wafer supplements containing prill fat with different feeding levels on nutrient digestibility and nutrient consumption in Garut male sheep. This study used 16 male Garut sheep with an average body weight of 33.50±10.97 kg at Sejahtera Tani Farm Cinangka. This study used Randomized Group Design with 4 treatments and 4 replicates consisting of P0: Field Grass + concentrate (control feed), P1: Control feed + Wafer supplement 200 g, P2: Control feed + Wafer supplement 300 g, P3: Control feed + Wafer supplement 400 g. The observed variables were consumption and nutrient digestibility. The results showed that the provision of wafer supplements containing prill fat at the level of 400g (P3) had a significant effect (P < 0.05) on increasing nutrient consumption BK 905.96 g head-1 day-1, BO 838.77 g head-1 day-1, PK 119.96 g head-1 day-1, LK 51.14 g head-1 day-1, SK 243.37 g head-1 day-1, BETN 420.55 g head-1 day-1. Supplementary wafer feeding containing prill fat is better than the control feed on nutrient digestibility.
