      Optimasi Penggunaan Bahan Pakan Lokal terhadap Organ Pencernaan, Karkas dan Lemak Abdomen Puyuh Petelur

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan bahan pakan lokal dalam pakan terhadap organ pencernaan, karkas dan lemak abdomen puyuh petelur. Penelitian ini menggunakan 240 ekor puyuh betina berumur 4 minggu yang dipelihara selama 12 minggu. Parameter yang diukur antara lain persentase dan panjang relatif dari organ pencernaan, persentase karkas dan persentase lemak abdomen puyuh petelur. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) terdiri atas 4 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan berbasis bahan pakan lokal 2 (P2) berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap persentase bobot dari jejunum dan sekum serta berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap persentase bobot dari karkas, lemak abdomen dan panjang relatif jejunum pada perlakuan KOM dan P0. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pakan berbasis bahan pakan lokal 1 dan 2 dapat meningkatkan persentase bobot jejunum, sekum dan lemak abdomen, namun menurunkan persentase bobot karkas puyuh petelur.
       
      This study aimed to evaluate the use of local feed ingredients in diets on digestive organs, carcass and abdominal fat of laying quail. This study used 240 female quails with 4 weeks of age that were reared for 12 weeks. Parameters measured included percentage and relative length of digestive organs, carcass percentage and abdominal fat percentage of laying quail. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 6 replication. Data were analyzed using ANOVA. The results showed that feeding diets based on local feed ingredients 2 (P2) had a significant effect (P < 0.05) on the percentage weight of the jejunum and cecum and a very significant effect (P < 0.01) on the percentage weight of the carcass, abdominal fat and relative length of the jejunum in the KOM and P0 treatments. It can be concluded that feeding diets based on local feed ingredients 1 and 2 can increase the percentage weight of jejunum, cecum and abdominal fat and reduce the percentage of carcass weight of laying quail.
