Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pemenuhan SNI Produk Ban di Lembaga Sertifikasi Produk Kekuatan Struktur BRIN

Abstract

Ban merupakan komponen pada kendaraan yang berperan penting dalam aspek kenyamanan dan keselamatan. Diperlukan standardisasi untuk menjamin bahwa produk tersebut telah memenuhi persyaratan sesuai dengan SNI yang berlaku. Produk ban termasuk dalam SNI Wajib sehingga produsen harus memenuhi persyaratan agar dapat memasarkan produknya. Lembaga Sertifikasi Produk (LSPro) merupakan lembaga yang melakukan kegiatan sertifikasi produk sesuai ruang lingkup yang diakreditasi oleh KAN dan memperoleh penunjukkan dari kementerian terkait. Salah satunya adalah LSPro Kekuatan Struktur yang berwenang untuk melakukan sertifikasi produk ban. Dalam pelaksanaannya, ditemukan bahwa kegiatan administrasi masih dilakukan secara manual dan belum adanya integrasi data yang menyebabkan penyampaian informasi kepada stakeholder menjadi kurang optimal. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sistem informasi agar kinerja organisasi menjadi efektif dan efisien. Sistem informasi yang baik memerlukan perancangan untuk memudahkan dalam mengelola data dan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perancangan sistem informasi menggunakan metode Prototyping yang terdiri dari tahap Communication, Quick Plan, Modelling Quick Design, Construction of Prototype. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa rancangan sebagai landasan dalam pengembangan sistem informasi berbasis web untuk mendukung layanan sertifikasi SNI produk ban. Hasil pengujian menggunakan Black Box menunjukkan bahwa prototipe yang dibangun dapat memenuhi kebutuhan fungsional sistem. Terdapat beberapa rekomendasi hasil perbaikan yang harus dilakukan agar prototipe dapat berkembang sesuai keinginan pengguna.

Tires are a component in vehicles that play an important role in the aspects of comfort and safety. Standardization is required to ensure that the product meets the requirements in accordance with the applicable SNI. Tire products are included in the Mandatory SNI so that manufacturers must meet the requirements in order to market their products. Lembaga Sertifikasi Produk (LSPro) are institutions that carry out product certification activities according to the scope accredited by KAN and obtain an appointment from the relevant ministry. One of them is LSPro Kekuatan Struktur which is authorized to certify tire products. In its implementation, it is found that administrative activities are still carried out manually and there is no data integration which causes the delivery of information to stakeholders to be less than optimal. Therefore, an information system is needed to make the organization's performance effective and efficient. A good information system requires design to facilitate managing data and information. This research aims to design information systems using the Prototyping method which consists of Communication, Quick Plan, Modeling Quick Design, Construction of Prototype. The result of this research is a design as a foundation in developing a web based information system to support SNI certification services for tire products. The results of testing using Black Box show that the prototype built can meet the functional needs of the system. There are several recommendations for improvements that must be made so that the prototype can develop according to user desires.
