      Abstract
Perlakuan terdiri atas P0 : Ransum kontrol (RK), P1 : RK + 20 mg virginiamisin kg-1 pakan, P2: RK + 20 mg ET kg-1 pakan, P3: RK + 40 mg ET kg- 1 pakan, P4: RK + 80 mg ET kg-1pakan, P5: RK + 160 mg ET kg-1 pakan, P6: RK+320 mg ET kg-1 pakan. Keyword: broiler, Curcuma xanthorriza, karkas, non-karkas.

This research aimed to examine the addition of Curcuma xanthorrhiza extract (ET) in the diet on carcass and non-carcass components on broiler chicken diets. The experiment involved 420 chickens using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 7 treatments and 6 replications. The treatments included: P0: Control diet, P1: RK + 20 mg virginiamycin kg-1 feed, P2: RK + 20 mg ET kg-1 feed, P3: RK + 40 mg ET kg-1 feed, P4: RK + 80 mg ET kg-1 feed, P5: RK + 160 mg ET kg1 feed, P6: RK + 320 mg ET kg-1 feed. Variables measured included carcass weight, carcass parts (thigh, breast, wing, back), and non-carcass parts (legs, head, neck). The results showed that the addition of Curcuma xanthorrhiza extract up to the highest dose of P6 (320 mg ET kg-1 feed) in the diet did not significantly affect the carcass and non-carcass components of broiler chickens
