Evaluasi In-Vitro Peningkatan Kualitas Dedak Sorghum (Shorgum Bhicolor L.) Melalui Fermentasi Dengan Aspergillus Niger
Abstract
Sorghum plant is capable of growing on marginal land, it will be potential for ruminant feed. Mutation sorghum could improve the quality of sorghum. Both seed and it's bran can be used as feed for the animals. However, the seed contain tannin at a level of 0.8-1.47% which could affect on palatability and reduce the dry matter and protein digestibilities. Addition of Aspergillus niger were expected to improve the digestibility of sorghum bran and reduce it's tannin content.
