      Abstract
      SDGs ke-4 yang berfokus pada pendidikan menjadikan dosen memegang peranan yang penting dalam menciptakan sumber daya manusia (mahasiswa) yang baik dalam institut X Yogyakarta. Untuk mendukung hal tersebut dosen perlu memiliki work engagement yang tinggi karena dapat mempengaruhi kinerja mereka dalam institut. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis persepsi dosen terhadap work engagement dosen Institut X Yogyakarta. Metode penentuan sampel yang digunakan untuk menghitung jumlah sampel dengan populasi sebanyak 106 dosen menggunakan persamaan Slovin. Sampel adalah dosen institut X di Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 84 responden. Metode penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik probability sampling yaitu simple random sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosen Institut X memiliki work engagement yang tinggi yaitu berada pada skor 3,91. Namun terdapat beberapa indikator lain yang memiliki skor rendah dan perlu dikaji lebih lanjut untuk dapat meningkatkan skor engagement dan meningkatkan kinerja dosen.
       
      SDG 4, which focuses on education, places lecturers in a crucial role in developing quality human resources (students) at X Institute in Yogyakarta. To support this, lecturers need to have high work engagement as it can influence their performance within the institute. The research objective is to analyze lecturers' perceptions of work engagement at X Institute in Yogyakarta. The method used to determine the sample size, out of a total population of 106 lecturers, was the Slovin equation. The sample consisted of 84 respondents, who are lecturers at X Institute in Yogyakarta. The sampling method used was probability sampling, specifically simple random sampling. The data used in this study were quantitative, collected from primary and secondary sources. This research employed a descriptive analysis method. The results of the study indicate that lecturers at X Institute have high work engagement, with a score of 3.91. However, there are several other indicators with lower scores that require further examination to enhance engagement scores and improve lecturer performance.
