The content of active compounds in red okra fruit is known to have α-glucosidase inhibitory activity but the effect of using BSF (Black soldier fly) kasgot fertilizer on the active compound content of red okra fruit as an α-glucosidase inhibitor is still unknown. The study aimed to analyze the effect of kasgot fertilizer on the compound content of red okra fruit, and its potential as an α-glucosidase inhibitor by in silico method. Red okra plants were planted with 3 fertilizer treatments, such as without fertilizer (P1), manure (P2), and BSF kasgot fertilizer (P3). The harvested fruit then extracted by maceration method with 70% ethanol solvent and the extract was analyzed using LC-MS/MS, and its potential as an α-glucosidase inhibitor with PDB code 2QMJ was predicted through an in silico study. The whole in silico study resulted in 5 potential red okra fruit compounds. The conclusion of this study is that the use of manure and BSF kasgot fertilizer on red okra plants both produce good compounds as α-glucosidase inhibitors. The best compounds of red okra fruit P2 and P3, scortechinone B having ΔGbind as much as -9,2 kkal/mol, binding at triad catalytic of α-glucosidase, Tyr299, Asp443, and Asp542.id
