Pendugaan Kebutuhan Nutrien dan Kecernaan Pakan pada Lutung Kelabu (Trachypithecus cristatus Raffles 1812) di Pusat Penyelamatan Satwa Gadog-Ciawi Bogor
Abstract
This experiment was aimed at studying nutrient requirement and digestibility of grey leaf monkey (Trachypithecus cristatus Raffles 1812) in Gadog Wildlife rescue Centre Ciawi, Bogor. This experiment used four female grey leaf monkeys to measure their feed consumption and digestibility. Feeds that were given were pohpohan, spinach, a fruit tree leaf (melinjo), green Chinese cabbage, kangkung and boiled sweet potato. Feed were given twice a day at 08.00 and 14.00. The variables measured in this study were temperature and relative humidity, feed consumption, nutrient digestibility, total digestible nutrient (TDN) and digestible nutrient (DE). The results of this study show that the most palatable feed for all grey leaf monkey is sweet patato and pohpohan. Feed that were consumed from the highest to the lowest amount are boiled sweet potato, pohpohan, green Chinese cabbage, kangkung, spinach, a fruit tree leaf (melinjo). The average for fresh intake were 624.6 ± 19.85 g/head/day. The average for nutrient consumption are 19.05 ± 1.23 ash/head/day, 23.03 ± 0.64 crude protein head/day, 13.20 ± 0.18 crude fiber/head/day, 2.36 ± 0.64 ether extract/head/day, 44.09 ± 1.71 N-free extract/head/day and 73.94 % Total Digestible Nutrient. Digestibility coefficient of grey leaf monkey 12.77 ± 0.61% are crude protein, 6.85 ± 0.45% crude fiber, 0.90 ± 0.15% ether extract, 27.85 ± 2.64% N-freextractives and DE 3.31 ± 0.23 Mcal DE/kg DM.
