Evaluasi Penggunaan Suplemen Lingzhi (Ganoderma lucidum) dan Kromium Organik terhadap Produksi dan Kualitas Susu Sapi Perah Laktasi pada Tingkat Produksi Berbeda
Abstract
Ganoderma lucidum is species of a poliphores mushrooms. Ganoderma lucidum is one of the species mushrooms which produce triterpenes and commonly known as ganoderic acid. Ganoderic acid had molecule structures that similar with steroid hormones. Ganoderma lucidum contain polysaccharides which can give good effect for the health. Chromium is a trace mineral which essential for humans and animals and important for carbohydrates, protein, fat, and nucleic acid metabolism. Organic cromium can be produced by incorporate it to mycelium and fruiting body of G. Lucidum (lingzhi). This experiment aim was to evaluate the supplementation effect of G. Lucidum fruting body (lingzhi) and organic chromium upon production and quality of milk produce by dairy lactation cow. The treatments were P0 (control/ basal diets), P1 (P0 + Lingzhi), P2 (P0 + Lingzhi + Organic Cr). The treatments were given to each group of cow based on daily milk production. The results were analyzed by non parametric statistic with Kruskal-Wallis test. The variables observed in this experiment were milk production, milk quality, somatic cell count, amount of microorganism cell, and mastites. The increasing response of milk production was shown in dairy cow with high production. Besides that, G. lucidum supplementation increased milk fat up to 20.6%. G. lucidum supplementation lingzhi and organic Cr together gave positive response for the health of animal. Health improvement of animal can be seen from decreasing somatic cell count of milk and decreasing amount of microorganism cell in milk of dairy cow which suffering mastites. The best response was shown in lingzhi treatment which decreased amount of microorganism and milk SCC up to 17.98% and 52.5%. The effect of G. lucidum (lingzhi) supplementation and organic Cr prior to animal health and then productivity. G. lucidum (lingzhi) supplementation was not fully increased animal health yet due to the short time of it’s consumption in this experiment.
