      Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of vitamin E and mineral Se supplementation with different compositions of nutrient requirements on the internal organ quality of IPB - D2 Chickens. The experimental design used in this study was a 2 x 2 factorial completely randomized design (CRD) (factor A for the type of ransum and factor B for vitamin E supplementation of 100 ppm and the amount of mineral Se 1 ppm. Each treatment was repeated as much as five times. The variables observed were slaughter weight of poultry, weight and percentage of internal organs of IPB-D2 chickens (liver, heart, bile, spleen, kidney, rampella, thymus, bursa, pancreas, and proventiculus). The data is processed using the ANOVA test. The results showed there was no interaction between giving different types of rations and vitamin E and mineral Se supplementation on the percentage of internal organ weights. Type of rations had a very significant effect on increasing bile weight (P<0.01), but vitamin E and Se supplementation did not significantly affect the increase in the percentage weight of the organ. While the type of ration and vitamin E and Se supplementation are significantly affected proventiculus percentage weight (P<0.05).
