Evaluasi Pemberian Ransum Kandungan Nutrien Berbeda dan Suplementasi Zn Terhadap Saluran Reproduksi dan Produksi Folikel Calon Galur Ayam IPB-D2
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan di laboratorium lapang kandang C yang terletak di kampus IPB University. Rancangan yang digunakan yaitu RAL pola faktorial 2×2 dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan dengan 10 ekor ayam per ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari: nutrien menurut Lohmann dengan 0 ppm Zn (P0Zn0), nutrien menurut Lohmann dengan 120 ppm Zn (P0Zn120), nutrien menurut Lohmann <10 % dengan 0 ppm Zn (P1Zn0) dan nutrien menurut Lohmann <10 % dengan 120 ppm Zn (P1Zn120). Variabel yang diamati adalah persentase berat dan panjang infundibulum, magnum, isthmus, uterus dan vagina serta persentase berat dan jumlah folikel kuning telur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ransum sesuai rekomendasi Lohmann yang disuplementasi Zn 120 ppm dapat meningkatkan presentase bobot magnum, uterus, folikel kuning kecil, putih besar dan warna putih kekuningan serta jumlah folikel kuning matang paling tinggi pada calon galur ayam IPB-D2. Kata kunci: ayam, folikel kuning telur, IPB-D2, Lohmann, standar nutrien. This research was carried out in the C cage field laboratory located on the IPB University campus. The design used was a CRD with a 2×2 factorial pattern with 4 treatments and 5 replications with 10 chickens per replication. The treatments consisted of: nutrient requirements according to Lohmann with 0 ppm Zn (P0Zn0), nutrient according to Lohmann with 120 ppm Zn (P0Zn120), nutrient according to Lohmann <10% with 0 ppm Zn (P1Zn0) and nutrient according to Lohmann <10% with 120 ppm Zn (P1Zn120). The variables observed were the percentage of weight and length of the infundibulum, magnum, isthmus, uterus and vagina as well as the percentage of weight and number of yolk follicles. The results showed that the ration according to Lohmann's recommendation supplemented with 120 ppm Zn could increase the percentage of magnum weight, uterus, small yellow follicle, large white and yellowish white color and the highest number of mature yellow follicles in the prospective chicken strain IPB-D2.
