Pengaruh Penambahan Mannan Bungkil Inti Sawit dalam Ransum terhadap Performan dan Kualitas Telur Ayam Isa Brown
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kualitas mannan bungkil inti sawit
dilihat dari aspek performan, IOFC dan kualitas telur ayam Isa Brown yang
dipelihara pada lingkungan kandang terbuka dengan suhu 33-35oC selama 7
minggu. Penelitian ini menggunakan 60 ekor ayam petelur strain Isa Brown yang
berumur 23-30 minggu dan ditempatkan dikandang baterai. Penelitian ini
menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan yaitu P0 =
Ransum mengandung 0% Mannan, P1 = Ransum basal mengandung 0,25%
Mannan, dan P2 = Ransum basal mengandung 0,5% Mannan, masing-masing
perlakuan mempunyai 5 ulangan dan masing-masing ulangan terdiri dari 4 ekor
ayam petelur. Ayam diberikan pakan 110 gram per ekor per hari. Uji kualitas telur
dilakukan pada minggu ke- 5, 6 dan 7. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan
uji Duncan jika diperoleh hasil yang berbeda nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa perlakuan tidak nyata mempengaruhi konsumsi pakan, Hen Day production,
bobot telur, konversi pakan dan kualitas telur kecuali indeks telur yang semakin
meningkat. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan mannan 0,25%-0,5% dalam
ransum belum dapat memperbaiki performan produksi ayam namun dapat
meningkatkan indeks telur. This study aimed to evaluate the quality of palm kernel cake mannan from
the aspect of performance, IOFC and egg quality of Isa Brown chickens reared in
an open cage environment with a temperature of 33-35oC for 7 weeks. This study
used 60 laying hens of the Isa Brown line aged 23-30 weeks and placed in a battery
cage. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments,
namely P0 = Ration containing 0% Mannan, P1 = Basal Ration containing 0.25%
Mannan, and P2 = Basal Ration containing 0.5% Mannan. The treatment consisted
of 5 replications and each replication consisted of 4 laying hens. Chickens are fed
110 grams per head per day. Egg quality testing was carried out at 5, 6, and 7 weeks.
The data were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan's test if significantly different
results were obtained. The results showed that the treatment had no significant
effect on feed consumption, chicken production, egg weight, feed conversion and
egg quality except for an increase in egg index. It can be concluded that the addition
of mannan 0.25%-0.5% in the ration has not been able to improve the performance
of chicken production but can increase the egg index.
