Pengaruh Suplementasi Tepung Kunyit pada Herbal Mineral Blok (HMB) terhadap Profil Lemak Darah dan Performa Kambing Kacang

Abstract

The purpose of this experiment was to study of supplementation of turmeric flour in Herb Mineral Block (HMB) on blood lipid profile and performance of Kacang goat. This experiment used a Completely Randomized Design, with three treatments and 10 replications. Treatments consisted of P1 (control), P2 (150 g turmeric flour in HMB), P3 (300 g turmeric flour in HMB). All animals fed with commercial feed diet during 45 days feeding trial. Variables observed were feed consumption, average daily gain, feed conversion, triglyceride, total plasma cholesterol, HDL and LDL-cholesterol. Result showed that supplementation of turmeric flour in HMB was not significance different in all parameters, compare to control treatment. Turmeric flour in Herb Mineral Block until 300 g is not effective as agent of decreasing cholesterol compound. Keywords : herb mineral block, blood lipid, kacang goat
