      Pemodelan Ketersediaan Hijauan Pakan dalam Mendukung Produktivitas Ternak Ruminansia di UP3J

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mensimulasi model dinamik ketersediaan hijauan pakan di UP3J IPB hingga tahun 2045 Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan Januari – Maret 2022 atau pada musim penghujan di UP3J IPB. Model dinamik dibangun menggunakan software Vensim PLE. Simulasi model dinamik dilakukan pada populasi ternak ruminansia yang berada di UP3J IPB yaitu untuk ternak sapi potong dan domba. Tren pada populasi sapi potong mengalami penurunan setiap tahunnya, sedangkan tren pada populasi domba mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya. Populasi ternak akan berkaitan dengan kebutuhan hijauan dan berkaitan erat dengan ketersediaan hijauan di UP3J IPB. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah ketersediaan hijauan di UP3J IPB mampu memenuhi kebutuhan hijauan ternak. Simulasi model ketersediaan hijauan dalam berbagai skenario batasan pengeluaran hijauan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas ternak melalui penambahan populasi. Uji MAPE digunakan sebagai validasi dan verifikasi model pada simulasi model populasi ternak ruminansia, dengan MAPE 10% pada populasi sapi dan 54% pada populasi domba.
       
      This study was conducted to simulate a dynamic model of forage availability in UP3J IPB until 2045. Data collection was carried out in January – March 2022 or during the rainy season in UP3J IPB. The dynamic model was built using Vensim PLE software. The dynamic model simulation was carried out on the ruminant population in UP3J IPB, namely beef cattle and sheep. The trend in the beef cattle population has decreased every year, while the trend in the sheep population has increased every year. The livestock population will be related to the need for forage and closely related to the availability of forage in UP3J IPB. The results obtained are the availability of forage in UP3J IPB is able to meet the needs of livestock forage. Forage availability model simulations in various scenarios of forage expenditure limits can increase livestock productivity through increasing population. The MAPE test was used as a validation and model verification in the ruminant population model simulation, with MAPE 10% in the cattle population and 54% in the sheep population.
