      Abstract
Potensi sumber daya air Indonesia mencapai 3,9 triliun m3/tahun, tetapi sekitar 3,2 triliun m3/tahun belum dimanfaatkan.

The potential of Indonesia's water resource reaches 3,9 trillion m2/year, but around 3,2 trillion m2/year has not been utilized. Air irrigation affects plant growth and production. Melon plant cultivation is quite difficult because of its suitability to the soil and air conditions in the environment. One of the irrigation techniques is pocket fertigation. This research aims to analyze the water footprint of melon plants in a greenhouse with pocket fertigation and conventional irrigation systems, and determine the most optimal irrigation system. The research was conducted in March-July 2022 at Kinjiro Farm, Bogor City. The research stages include land preparation, melon cultivation, data collection, and processing. The research design consists of pocket fertigation (PF) and conventional irrigation systems (SK), as well as one time (E) and two times evaporations of water (2E). PF-2E irrigation system is the tallest crop with more leaves than other methods. PF-2E irrigation systems are more efficient to be applied to melon plants, because it has higher yields and water productivity, and lower water footprint than conventional methods.
