Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Niat dan Perilaku Penggunaan Sistem Informasi Akademis Berbasis Telepon Pintar (Studi Kasus Aplikasi IPB Mobile for Student)

Abstract

Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Akademis (SIA) yang berbasis telepon pintar dapat mempermudah mahasiswa dalam mengakses dan mengunggah informasi akademis secara lebih praktis jika dikembangkan dengan baik. Untuk itu, penting bagi perguruan tinggi untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada niat dan perilaku mahasiswanya dalam menggunakan SIA berbasis telepon pintar yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat dan perilaku penggunaan aplikasi SIA IPB Mobile for Student (IPBM) dengan menggunakan model Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Data dari hasil pengisian kuesioner pada penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat perilaku (behavioral intention) penggunaan aplikasi IPBM adalah ekspektasi kinerja (performance expectancy) dan ekspektasi usaha (effort expectancy). Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku penggunaan (use behavior) aplikasi IPBM adalah kondisi yang memfasilitasi (facilitating conditions) dan niat perilaku (behavioral intention).

Smartphone-based Academic Information System (AIS) can make it easier for students to access and upload academic information more practically if developed properly. Therefore, it’s important for universities to understand the factors that influence the intention and behavior of their students in using the developed smartphone-based AIS. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the intention and use behavior of IPB Mobile for Student (IPBM) application using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. The data in this study were analyzed using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis method. The results show that performance expectancy and effort expectancy positively and significantly influence the student’s behavioral intention to use the IPBM application while facilitating conditions and behavioral intention also positively and significantly influence the student’s use behavior in using it.
