Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Manajemen Produksi di Perusahaan Mebel

Abstract

Jepara merupakan pusat produsen berbagai produk mebel kayu di Indonesia. Dalam proses produksi, pendataan produksi mebel masih menggunakan metode konvensional. Selain itu, monitoring kemajuan proses produksi juga tidak dapat dilakukan secara detail. Diperlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat melakukan pendataan terhadap proses produksi mebel yang terintegrasi, cepat, dan mudah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem informasi manajemen produksi yang dapat diakses melalui website. Sistem juga diharapkan dapat melakukan pendataan dan monitoring secara terintegrasi pada produksi mebel pada perusahaan. Metode penelitian mengacu pada metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) yang terdiri dari investigasi sistem, analisis sistem, desain sistem, implementasi, pemeliharaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian adalah sebuah website yang dapat melakukan pendataan dan monitoring di PT Talenta Java Design. Berdasarkan pengujian lapangan yang dilakukan oleh setiap bagian produksi, didapatkan hasil bahwa sistem dinilai “Sangat Baik” dengan nilai user acceptance test sebesar 95.71%.

Jepara is a center for producing various wooden furniture products in Indonesia. At production process, data collection still using conventional method. Monitoring the progress of the production process cannot be carried out in detail. A system is needed that can collect data on the furniture production process easily, faster, and integrated. This study aims to build a production management information system that can be accessed through website. The system is also expected to be able carry out integrated data collection and monitoring on furniture production at the company. The research method refers to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method which consists of system investigation, system analysis, system design, implementation, maintenance, dan evaluation. The result of the research is a website that can perform data collection and monitoring at PT Talenta Java Design. Based on test by each production department, the system was considered “Very Good” with user acceptance test value of 95.71%.
