Hubungan Konsumsi Suplemen, Konsumsi Buah dan Sayur serta Aktivitas Fisik dengan Status Kesehatan dan Status Gizi Remaja Putri
Abstract
Remaja mengalami pertumbuhan fisik yang cepat sehingga kebutuhan gizi remaja relatif tinggi. Suplemen dibutuhkan untuk menunjang kesehatan dan memperkuat daya tahan tubuh. Konsumsi buah dan sayur sebagai sumber vitamin dan mineral serta aktivitas fisik mempengaruhi status kesehatan dan status gizi remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan konsumsi suplemen, konsumsi buah dan sayur serta aktivitas fisik dengan status kesehatan dan status gizi remaja putri. Desain penelitian adalah cross sectional study dengan subyek berjumlah 60 orang yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui google form dan wawancara melalui telepon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 91,6% subyek terkategori sering mengonsumsi suplemen. Sebanyak 96,7% subyek terkategori kurang mengonsumsi buah dan sayur. Sebanyak 60% subyek terkategori sangat ringan melakukan aktivitas fisik. Tidak ada perbedaan signifikan (p>0,05) konsumsi suplemen, konsumsi buah dan sayur serta status kesehatan antara subyek gizi lebih dengan normal namun aktivitas fisik subyek gizi lebih adalah signifikan (p<0,05) lebih rendah daripada subyek gizi normal. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan (p>0,05) antara konsumsi suplemen, konsumsi buah dan sayur serta aktivitas fisik dengan status kesehatan. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan (p>0,05) antara konsumsi suplemen, konsumsi buah dan sayur, aktivitas fisik dan status kesehatan dengan status gizi. Adolescents experience rapid physical growth so that the nutritional needs relatively high. Supplements are needed to support health and strengthen the immune system. Fruits and vegetables as source of vitamin and mineral, and physical activity affect health and nutritional status. Research aimed to analyze correlation between consumption of supplement, consumption of fruits and vegetables, and physical activity with health and nutritional status. This cross-sectional study design consisted of 60 subjects was selected by purposive sampling. Data collected via google forms and interviews by telephone. This study found 91.6% of subjects were categorized as frequently taking supplement. Most (96.7%) of subjects had a low category for consumption of fruits and vegetables. As much as 60% of subjects had very light category of physical activity. There was no significant difference (p>0.05) in consumption of supplement, consumption of fruits and vegetables, and health status between overweight and normal subjects. Physical activity of overweight was significant (p<0.05) lower than normal subjects. There was no significant correlation between consumption of supplement, consumption of fruits and vegetables, and physical activity with health status. There was no significant correlation between consumption of supplement, consumption of fruits and vegetables, physical activity and health status with nutritional status.
