      Abstract

Tilapia is a freshwater commodity that can be attacked by MAS (Motile Aeromonas Septicemia) caused by Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria. Noni fruit has the potential to be used as a preventive measure because it contains active compounds such as scopoletin, anthraquinones, phenols, flavonoids, and alkaloids. This study aims to determine the dose of noni fruit flour (Morinda citrifolia) in feed as an effort to prevent infection with A. hydrophila bacteria in tilapia fry. The tilapia used had an initial weight of 12.75 ± 0.31 g which were reared for 30 days by feeding treatment, then challenged on the 31st day, and reared again for 14 days with commercial feed. The treatments used were the addition of noni fruit flour at a dose of 5 g/kg feed (D5), 10 g/kg feed (D10), 15 g/kg feed (D15), positive control (K+), and negative control (K-). The addition of noni powder showed better survival results, total leukocytes, clinical symptoms and organ conditions compared to positive controls. Noni fruit flour given through feed to tilapia can prevent infection with A. hydrophila bacteria with the best dose at a dose of 10 g/kg feed.
