      Abstract

This research aims to analyze the situation of food consumption, stunting, and life expectancy in regencies/cities of West Java Province 2015–2018. Data that used was secondary data with units of analysis were 27 regencies/cities in West Java Province in 2015 to 2018. The result showed that in West Java Province, the population, life expectancy, and Desirable Dietary Pattern (DDP) score have increase; population growth rate and poverty rate have decrease; and energy adequacy levels, protein adequacy levels, and stunting prevalence have fluctuated. Within four years (2015–2018), there are 71 (65,7%) regencies/cities with good energy adequacy level and 37 (34,3%) regencies/cities with moderate energy adequacy level, there are 97 (89,8%) regencies/cities with good protein adequacy level and 11 (10,2%) with moderate protein adequacy level as well. The number of regencies/cities with high and very high stunting categories are increasing every year from 2015 until 2018. The multiple correlation test showed there was a strong correlation (r=0,750) between population, population growth rate, poverty level, energy adequacy level, protein adequacy level, DDP score, and stunting prevalence simultaneously with life expectancy.
