Studi tentang Body Image, Kebiasaan Makan, dan Status Gizi pada Siswi di SMAN 1 Ciomas
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara body image, kebiasaan makan, dan status gizi pada siswi di SMAN 1 Ciomas. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional study dengan subjek berjumlah 65 siswi kelas X dan XI di SMAN 1 Ciomas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa berdasarkan metode Figure Rating Scale (FRS), sebanyak 60% subjek memiliki body image positif. Namun, terdapat 11 dari 16 subjek yang berstatus gizi normal dengan body image negatif yang menganggap bentuk tubuhnya saat ini belum ideal dan menginginkan bentuk tubuh yang lebih langsing. Sedangkan berdasarkan metode Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire-Appearance Scale (MBSRQ-AS) sebanyak 67,7% subjek memiliki body image normal dan 16,9% memiliki body image positif. Subjek memiliki kebiasaan makan yang tergolong baik (56,9%). Sebagian besar subjek (78,5%) memiliki status gizi normal berdasarkan IMT/U. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara subskala MBSRQ-AS evaluasi penampilan dengan status gizi (p= 0,021: r= 0,286). Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara body image dengan status gizi dan status gizi dengan kebiasaan makan. Kata kunci : body image, kebiasaan makan, remaja perempuan, status gizi This study aims to determine the relationship between body image, eating habits, and nutritional status of female student at SMAN 1 Ciomas. The design of study was cross sectional study with 65 female students in 1st and 2nd grade at SMAN 1 Ciomas as the subject. The results showed that based on the FRS method, 60,0% of the subjects had positive body image perception. The results of this study indicate that based on the Figure Rating Scale (FRS) method, 60% of the subjects have a positive body image. However, there were 11 out of 16 subjects with a normal nutritional status that have negative body images who consider their current body shape to be not ideal and want a slender body shape. Meanwhile, based on the MBSRQ-AS method, 67,7% of the subject had normal body image perception and 16,9% had positive body image perception. Subjects tend to had healthy eating habits (56,9%). Most of the subjects (78,5%) had normal nutritional status based on BMI for Age. There was a significant correlation between the MBSRQ-AS’s subscale appearance evaluation with nutritional status (p= 0,021: r= 0,286). There was no significant correlation between body image perception with nutritional status and nutritional status with eating habit.
