Pengaruh Literasi Keuangan dan Financial Self-Efficacy terhadap Kesejahteraan Finansial Generasi Milenial
Abstract
Literasi keuangan berperan penting dalam membantu generasi milenial dalam mencapai kesejahteraan finansial. Namun, rendahnya literasi keuangan generasi ini berdampak pada pengelolaan keuangan yang buruk serta minimnya generasi ini yang memiliki keyakinan untuk mencapai tujuan keuangan. Hal tersebut dapat menghambat tercapainya kesejahteraan finansial generasi ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengukur tingkat literasi keuangan, financial self-efficacy, kesejahteraan finansial generasi milenial Jabodetabek serta menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan dan financial self-efficacy terhadap kesejahteraan finansial generasi milenial. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistika deskriptif dan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) – PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat literasi keuangan, financial self-efficacy, kesejahteraan finansial generasi milenial Jabodetabek secara berturut-turut sebesar 55%, 83%, dan 75%; terdapat pengaruh literasi keuangan terhadap financial self-efficacy, financial self-efficacy terhadap kesejahteraan finansial, dan literasi keuangan terhadap kesejahteraan finansial baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Financial literacy plays an important role in helping millennial generation to achieve financial well-being. However, the low financial literacy of this generation has an impact on poor financial management and the lack of this generation who has the confidence to achieve their financial goals. This can hinder the achievement of this generation's financial well-being. The objectives of this study are to measure the level of financial literacy, financial self-efficacy, financial well-being of the millennial generation in Jabodetabek and to analyze the influence of financial literacy and financial self-efficacy towards financial well-being on millennial generation. The method of analysis in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and analysis of Structural Equation Model (SEM) – PLS. The result study showed that the level of financial literacy, financial self-efficacy, financial well-being of millennial generation in Jabodetabek is 55%, 83%, and 75%; there is an influence of financial literacy on financial self-efficacy; financial self-efficacy on financial well-being; and financial literacy on financial well-being both directly and indirectly.
