Food Coping Strategy, Ketahanan Pangan, dan Status Gizi Anak pada Keluarga Nelayan Saat Pandemi COVID-19
Abstract
Penyebaran COVID-19 yang semakin meluas berdampak pada sektor kesehatan, sosial, dan ekonomi termasuk di komunitas nelayan yang merupakan golongan menengah ke bawah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis food coping strategy, ketahanan pangan, dan status gizi anak pada keluarga nelayan saat pandemi COVID-19. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain cross sectional study dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 61 rumah tangga nelayan. Uji analisis yang digunakan terdiri dari analisis deskriptif univariat dan analisis inferensia chi square. Hasil analisis deskriptif memperlihatkan sebagian besar tindakan food coping strategy yang dilakukan oleh keluarga nelayan termasuk kategori rendah (59%). Lebih dari separuh keluarga nelayan dapat dikategorikan menjadi keluarga rawan pangan (73,8%). Prevalensi anak yang termasuk gizi kurang yaitu 14,8% sedangkan yang termasuk katgeori gizi lebih yaitu 29,5%. Hasil analisis bivariate chi square memperlihatkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pekerjaan ibu, pendapatan, pengeluaran total dengan food coping strategy. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara karakteristik sosial ekonomi dan ketahanan pangan. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pekerjaan ibu, pendapatan, dan pengeluaran total dengan status gizi anak. Hubungan antara food coping strategy, ketahanan pangan, dan status gizi anak tidak signifikan. The widespread of COVID-19 has an impact on the health, social, and economic sectors including in the fisherman family which is categorized as middle to lower class. This study aims to analyze food coping strategy, food security, and nutritional status of children in fisherman family during COVID-19 pandemic. The research design used a cross sectional study with number of subjects as many as 61 fisherman families. Analysis is divided into two category which is descriptive analysis and inferensia analysis that used chi square test. Result show that most of the food coping strategies carried out by fisherman's families are in the low categories (59%). More than half of fisherman family is categorized as food insecurity family (73,8%). The prevalence of children belonging to thinness is 14,8% while the percentage of overweight children are 29,5%. Results of chi square test showed a significant relationship between maternal work, income, and total expenditure with food coping strategy. There is no significant relationship between socio economic characteristic of fisherman family with food security. There is a significant relationship between maternal work, income, and total expenditure with the nutritional status of children. Relationship between food coping strategy, household food security, and nutritional status of children was not significant.
