      Abstract
      Produksi ikan patin (Pangasionodon hypopthalmus) di beberapa daerah belum optimal, diperlukan kegiatan transportasi ikan dalam rangka meningkatkan produksi patin di berbagai daerah. Daun bandotan (Ageratum conyzoides) diketahui memiliki kegunaan dalam transportasi ikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis penambahan daun bandotan terhadap peningkatan kualitas air media dan sintasan juvenil ikan patin pada transportasi tertutup. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap terdiri atas tiga perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari kontrol (K), perlakuan dosis 1 g/L (B1), dan perlakuan dosis 2 g/L (B2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penambahan daun bandotan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kualitas air dan sintasan namun dapat menurunkan konsentrasi glukosa darah ikan pada saat transportasi. Penambahan daun bandotan 1 g/L memiliki keuntungan ekonomi yang paling besar. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dosis terbaik dalam penambahan daun bandotan pada media transportasi yaitu 1 g/L.
       
      Production of Asian catfish (Pangasionodon hypopthalmus) in some areas is not optimal, fish transportation activities are needed in order to increase catfish production in various regions.. Whiteweed (Ageratum conyzoides) are known to have been benefits in fish transportation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the addition of whiteweed to the improvement of water quality media and juvenile survival of catfish in closed transportation. This study used a completely randomized design consisting of three treatments and three replications. The treatments consisted of control (K), treatment dose 1 g/L (B1), and treatment dose 2 g/L (B2). The results showed that the addition of whiteweed did not significantly affect the survival rate and water quality but could reduce the blood glucose concentration of fish during transportation. The addition of 1 g/L whiteweed has the greatest economic advantage. Based on this research, the best dose for adding whiteweed to transportation media is 1 g/L.
