      Abstract

This study aimed to analyze diversity of fresh and preserved fish consumption in Indonesia. The study applied two forecasting methods, Moving Average method and the Double Exponential Smoothing to secondary data of fish consumption in Indonesia start year 2013 until 2018 from SUSENAS. Results of forecasting using Moving Average method on consumption of fresh fish, consumption of preserved fish, consumption of fresh shrimp and other aquatic animals, and consumption of preserved shrimp and other aquatic animals until 2024 are 16,39 kg / cap /year, 2,09 kg / cap / year, 1,32 kg / cap / year, and 0,11 kg / cap / year, respectively. Results of forecasting using Double Exponential Smooting method on consumption of fresh fish, consumption of preserved fish, consumption of fresh shrimp and other aquatic animals, and consumption of preserved shrimp and other aquatic animals until 2024 are 19,39 kg / cap / year, 1,86 kg / cap / year, 1,58 kg / cap / year, and 0,16 kg / cap / year, respectively. Keywords: forecasting, fresh fish, fresh shrimp and other aquatic animals, preserved fish, preserved shrimp and other aquatic animals
