dc.description.abstractFrom rhizospheres of twenty bamboo species cultivated in Bogor Botanic Garden were found four genera of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi (consisted of four species of Acaulospora, one species of Gigaspora, three species of glomus, and two species of Scutellospora) associated with eighteen species of bamboo. The percentage of AM fungi colonization in bamboo roots was also calculated. as far as we know, this is the first report of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungsi from bamboo rhizospere in Indonesia.id
