Abstract: Nipah Panjang District as one of the coastal zone in the east coast of Jambi with Mangrove resource that supported the live of society near by, this day faced on the problems of over exploitation rate for various use such as pallet stake and firewood. Research about mangrove ecosystem on District of Nipah Panjang aim to know the condition of mangrove ecosystem and also to find an alternative for mangrove ecosystem management in this region.
